排莫村距县城30公里,距乡政府20公里,全村256户,891口人,家家户户都会蜡染生产制作,是丹寨苗族蜡染艺术的发祥地，是众多学者研究丹寨鸟图腾蜡染的首选地。80年代丹寨蜡染被称为“飞进白宫的鸟图腾”，后又被誉为“东方第一染”。

（英文）Paimo village is 30 kilometers away from the central county. It is 20 kilometers away from the people’s government of the town, with a population of 819 and 256 families. Every family skills in wax printing making. It is not only the original place of Miao’s batik craft in Danzhai, but also the best place of many scholar research the picture of “Flying bird”. Batik of  Danzhai was names as “The flying bird. Picture fly into white house”. Late it was regarded as “Best batik in orient”.

丹寨苗族蜡染是为生产者本身的需要而创造的生产者的艺术。主要制作都是日常生活用品。有女性古装、床单、背面、包袱布、提包、背带等。丹寨苗族蜡染绘画工艺有“点蜡”和“画蜡”两种，点是以圆点排列为虚线条，再由虚线条组织成图案；画则以线条的粗细曲直来勾勒形象或抽象的物体，以组成图案。从实物图案上可分为“几何纹”和“自然纹”两大类。几何纹是按流传下来的传统图案制作，最具代表性的有“哥涡”图，是一种螺旋纹，传说是祖宗们传下来，固定在女性盛装上的肩背、衣袖处，不能更改；而丹寨苗族蜡染的作者们更喜欢以自然纹为主的大花，自然纹以自然界中的花鸟虫鱼作图案的素材，随心所欲地创作，活泼流畅，造型生动，富于夸张。特别是鸟的变化最为丰富，想象力异常大胆，简练传神，乡土气浓，富有童话般的梦幻色彩。

1982、1984年丹寨蜡染能手王阿勇勇度远渡太平洋到美国等进行蜡染现场表演，其作品被美国白宫收藏，因此丹寨蜡染又被称为飞进美国白宫的鸟图腾。丹寨蜡染因其材料的纯天然和随心所欲地创作，活泼流畅，造型生动，富于夸张。特别是鸟的变化最为丰富，想象力异常大胆，简练传神，乡土气浓，而倍受世人青睐 作为丹寨蜡染的发源地，越来越多的专家、学者前往排莫开展科学考察和研究。

目前丹寨已成立蜡染协会，会员300余人，每年可以生产蜡染作品6万余件(半工半农)，蜡染价格从十几元到几百元不等，年产值150万余元左右，目前订单较多，由于没有厂房，分散加工，又加之农妇半工半农，因此产量很低，效益不高。目前市场上蜡染供不应求，若投资蜡染生产加工，提高蜡染的艺术档次，每年可生产蜡染20余万件，按平均每件80元计，年产值可达1600万元，除去成本1000万元，年纯收入可达600万元。一年便可收回投资成本。 项目前景十分广阔，项目建设后，不仅可以吸引更多的国内国外游客到排莫参观旅游，而且蜡染作为一种旅游商品，其开发价值会更大。

(英文) Batik of Danzhai first was known as the craft that service for the work class themselves. Most of the materials are all basic necessary of life. There are old-fashion female garment, sheet, bag, back, handbag, braces and so on. “Dot printing” and “Drawing printing” consist two kinds of crafts of Danzhai, “dot printing” by using.

Many dots arrays in the form of a dotted line, then all the dotted line are combines a design. “Picture printing” by using the wide of the curve line to draw imaginary or abstract objects, then all the line form a whole picture. According to the material objects, they are classified as “geometrical stripe” and “natural stripe”. Geometrical is make according to the traditional design handed down, the most classic design is “Guo Wo” design. Which is a kind of spiral stripe; It is said that this kind of design was handed down by ancestors, fixing on shoulders the splendid female garment, sleeves that unchangeable. But the authors of the batik in Danzhai prefer great flowers under the background of the natural stripe, the natural stripe designs come from the material of flowers. Worms and fishes, they drawing them out of free feeling lively and smooth, the sties are moving, exaggerative, especially the changes of birds are fantasy, they imagine boldly, concise and life like full of country atmosphere, fill the color of fairy tales.

In 1982 and 1984, a batik making master Wang A yong boldly few across Pacific Ocean to practice her batik making show on stage, her several works has been collected by White House. So the batik of Danzhai was known as “the flying bird picture” flew into the White House. Due to its material purely natural and great boldly and life like, rich in country atmosphere. Its caught the attention of people around the world. As the original place of batik, more and more exports and scholars, come over La-Mo carry out their study and research.

Presently, the batik association is founded, the membership add up to 300 people, they can make 60,000 pieces of batik per years(half working and half farming). The price of batik from dozen yuan to hundreds of yuan. In total, they can get about ￥1.5 million, cut off the cost, the net profit get ￥6million. Just one year, you can get back your investment. The prospect of the programme is broadly, after the programme is constructed.
